Delete your FendoMoney account
You can close your FendoMoney account yourself in the app, or ask us by email. Closing ends your access immediately. It is not the same as full erasure of every record.
Close your account in the app
- 1.Open the FendoMoney mobile app and sign in.
- 2.Go to Profile.
- 3.Choose Close account and follow the prompts.
You cannot close an account that still holds a balance, has a transaction in progress, or is under an open compliance review. Withdraw any balance and let open transactions finish first.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot use the app, email privacy@fendomoney.com from the address on your account. Use the subject line “Account deletion request” and include the email address registered on the account. We process requests manually within the timeframe required by applicable law.
What we keep after closure
Nigerian anti-money laundering law requires us to retain identity verification and transaction records for a set period after the relationship ends. We keep those records for that purpose and clear push tokens, device binding, and marketing preferences at closure. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
